Kara Owens is my user tester. She is a senior at the University of Missouri - Columbia majoring in Hospitality Management with an emphasis in Event and Conference Planning and a minor in Business. She has been a close friend in college for many years and also knows that I plan on opening my own doggy daycare/boarding facility. Kara is new to html and web design in general, but she is constantly on numerous websites and knows what she likes and doesn't like about them. Because she is in Event Planning, I asked her to review the overall content and design of my website. She used a 13.3 inch MacBook Air with 128gb storage, and 1.6GHz dual-core Intel Core. She used the University's wifi in the library on Safari.
Stevie Holdinghausen is a senior at the University of Missouri - Columbia majoring in Graphic Design and minoring in Business. We have been close friends since we were 13 years old. Stevie has completed a course for Web Design at another college but it was three years ago. She recalls some aspects of HTML and CSS but not all of it. Because of her knowledge of the HTML world, she is my HTML developer. I asked her to focus on my coding as well as the design. Although she is still unfamiliar with html and css, I am confident that she can provide me with adequate feedback. Stevie used a MacBook 12-inch display, 1.1ghz, intel hd graphics 515. She viewed my website using macOS Sierra and Safari using the University's wifi in Mort's.
Jeanette Kopp is a Senior Project Manager for Express Scripts. She is constantly teaching people what to do and how to do it in order to get things done properly. She knows how things should like in order to create a god learning environment. Jeanette is constantly on her laptop so she also spends countless hours navigating through emails etc. She stated that many times as she researches online, some links do not work. So I have asked her to double and triple check that everything works properly. She used an iPhone 7 plus with 256gb and 5.5 inch retina hd display.

All agreed that the logo was very creative. They like the image of the husky head inside of the Kopper Kennels letters as well as the K in Kopper being used as the K in Kennels. Stevie thought the grey boarder on top should go out further than created.
Kara thought the background needed more color. She hassled me about how boring the background was but how neat the top was. She suggested a very light grey backgound to go with the top that won't over do it.
Stevie thought all of my HTML looked good except for the image on the top of the page which is also the logo. She stated that it should be smaller so the letters in Kopper Kennels would look clearer.
Jeanette said all of the links worked including the external links to other pages. The only concern she had was the lack of information on the site. It needs to go into more detail. She also stated that she liked the flow of the font style throughtout the entire website.
Overall, I was very pleased with my feedback. I was impressed with myself with the logo and the few errors, but as recently stated I should change the background to be more inviting and I should add more content to the website.

Based on the feedback that I received, I propose to make the following changes in my website:
Overall, I was happy with my evaluations! Even though my feedback was in fact small, I was still able to receive tips to make my website better. Because I have been working so hard they had little to complain about! Kara did not have much to say besides the background color and content which is understandable. Even though Stevie doesn't have a lot of experience using HTML she was still able to look at my coding and point out the problem with the size of my logo. I would have never figured that out. Jeanette was very helpful by making sure EVERY link within EVERY page worked on her phone. She commented that users should be able to navigate using their cellphones or other small devices. I was pleased to know it worked for her!
For my final project I will certainly focus on color and content. Those seem to be the biggest concerns from my evaluators! Wish me luck!
